Susan [has become] a special part of our life coming in and caring for Ringo, Dan, Jake and Savannah 4-5 days a week for [the last 10] months. They [have] bonded so well with her, and her with them. She never hesitates to contact us when there is a problem and even offered [to], and then did, drive the 2 larger dogs to the veterinarian’s office on separate occasions when medical problems arose.

Susan went above and beyond when she helped us through the difficult time we had during our recent attempt to save Dan; we all still had to go to work those final two weeks, but knowing Susan was there to give Dan his medications and comfort him during the day when we were unable to be with him, and still manage to keep the other three calm and cared for, made it so much easier for all of us, especially Dan. We are a network of foster homes and do not have a shelter facility. Currently we hold weekly adoption fairs on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Powers Petsmart.

All Breed RescuePrimarily serving Colorado Springs and the greater El Paso County community, All Breed Rescue & Training is a non-profit organization with a mission to both protect at risk shelter dogs and provide professional educational services for all dog owners.

Our cats come from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region where the 2009 live release rate for cats was less than 40%, from the City of Montrose Animal Control Facility and from private surrenders.
